The system structure represents the connection of the individual components. The system is arranged in such a way that three outputs from sensors – hall effect sensor (sense if the vehicle is at zero speed), inclinometer sensor (sense if the vehicle is at inclined angle) and gear position sensor (sense the gear position of the vehicle) are given to the control unit. The control unit checks for the required inputs. If the output from the sensors matches the conditions given, the braking system gets activated through the mechanical arrangement of solenoid valve and pneumatic cylinder. When the signal from the control unit is passes to solenoid valve, it creates a pressure and the pressure created is used to push the piston in the pneumatic cylinder. The pneumatic cylinder pushes the ratchet. The ratchet stops the pawl. Thus, the arrangement is configured.
