ABSTRACT
This Project “SMART HEALTH CONSULTING” aims at maintaining patient health records and even getting appointments from various doctors for related treatments. The system user must register as a member of this system and keep updating his medical history. Patients then can select from a list of specialized doctors for respective treatments such as(skin specialist, ENT specialist, cardiologist etc.)at particular locations. Patients may also select suitable appointment timings for their meeting. Patients can also order their medicines and perform online transactions. This system can also provide an audio to text convertor and video conferencing feature.

INTRODUCTION
Introduction to System
Consulting a doctor is a quite obvious thing in our day to day life, but the availability of the doctor during the time of our requirement is unpredictable. In order to overcome this issue , we have planned to develop a system that enables the user or the patient to get all the required details like availability, contact information about the nearest located doctors who are specialized in the issues given by the patient.

This application allows user to get instant supervision on their health issues through a smart health care web application online. The application is feed with various symptoms and the diseases associated with those systems. Patients can check their medical record .Hence, this system provides Quality Health Care to everyone and error free and smooth communication to patients.

1.2 Limitation of Existing System
In the present existing system, consulting any doctor is very tiresome task for the patient. There are many cases where the patient is unable to find out the required doctor for his disease, this become even worse if there is an emergency case especially when the patient is in an unknown area. This situation might harm the patient in the mean time.
Even knowing the proper address, contact details of the doctor for required disease has become a very tough task.

Also, sometimes doctor’s schedule may get change during such cases patient’s appointment might be cancelled. This might not be known by the patient due to lack of communication between the patients and the doctor. A doctor can have many patients in a day which becomes even more difficult for the doctor to intimate his schedule to each and every patient. Because of this time of patient get wasted and in the case of emergency it may cause harm to the patient.

1.3 Objectives of the new System
To overcome the tiresome procedure of finding the doctor specialized in the area specified by the patient ,we have come up with the solution of categorizing the doctors according to their specialization.

Moreover, it also provides the location of the nearest doctors to the patient.

In the event of a change in doctor’s schedule ,we provide a feature of notifying the patient via sms /e-mail.

REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS
2.1 Feasibility Study
TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY:
Our system is technically feasible because it satisfies the hardware requirements such as the availability of internet connection, PC, and the software requirements such as the required software (NetBeans), database and various editing tools.

ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY:
Since our system offers flexibility to the users regarding consulting the doctors as per their convenience and also other handy features, the number of users and doctors are expected to gradually increase. Also, all the online transactions will be performed through our system.

LEGAL FEASIBILITY:
For our system to be legally feasible, the admins will allow the registration of only those doctors who have valid degrees.

OPERATIONAL FEASIBILITY:
Certain features of our system including communicating with the specialized doctors, and getting the treatments on time are operationally feasible. While, other features such as video conferencing between doctor and patient, might not be operationally feasible.
SCHEDULING FEASIBILITY:
The project might take about 7 to 8 months to become completely functional.

Our system makes use of various software tools like NetBeans IDE, Database, etc.

The technologies used are HTML, CSS, Java, Javascript , Jquery , Ajax, and frameworks such as Spring , Hibernate, etc.

Project Estimation
The cost estimation of our system includes server hosting cost , tools and technology cost etc.

The time estimation includes number of hours required to build this system which nearly will take 7/8 months.

The labour estimation includes the man power involved in analysis, development, testing, validation and maintainance.

FUTURE ENHANCEMENT

Once the basic layout and functionalities of our system are designed, we plan to inculcate certain extra features into the system such as audio to text convertor feature, a video conferencing feature, feature to provide the facility of paying online to buy medicines, etc.

7. CONCLUSION
The “Smart health consulting” Web Application is helpful for patients to search and consult the specialized doctors and get appropriate medicines . This application simplifies the task of a patient and the doctor. This application facilitates the interaction between patient and doctor. It helps to optimize the work of patient and doctor. Installation of the application in the Smartphone is quite simple. Smart health consulting system is an effortless, efficient and influential web application for the society.
