Chick-Fil-A
Chick-Fil-A (CFA) is a very common and popular fast food restaurant originated from the south. Founded in 1946 by S. Truett Cathy, a devoted southern christian, it operates more than 2,200 restaurants, primarily in the United States. CFA’s first location was in Hapeville, Georgia. The most local CFA near Sandwich, MA is in Hyannis, MA. Many more people love their food, as the franchise begins to grow and expand nationwide. As they are known for saying, “Put principles and people ahead of profits.”

Chick-Fil-A is also known for being closed on Sundays, which set them apart from most restaurants in the industry. If you enter a modern CFA the chances that you’ll hear devoiced Christian Contemporary music playing over the loud sound are very high. This brings in the large audience, including myself and my family. CFA also is known for their involvement in their local communities. CFA has raised over $13 million dollars worth of funds that went towards scholarships, charities, homeless shelters, and academic coaches. There is a scholarship sponsored by Chick-Fil-A called the Team Member College Scholarship. The foundation provides $1.6 million each year to cover college expenses at the school of their choice. In addition, $1.44 billion was donated over three years by CFA to support disadvantaged youth in the Atlanta area. They raise this money through their loyal customers, so giving back to them is a way of gratitude.
